KCER Offers Free Webinar on Emergency Preparedness and Response for the Dialysis Community, March 18, 2015

The Kidney Community Emergency Response Program (KCER) is offering a free webinar, “Emergency Preparedness and Response for the Dialysis Community: What You Need to Know.” The webinar will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 12 noon – 2:30 PM ET and is available free of charge. Nurses can earn 2.0 CEs. In this webinar, Melinda Martin-Lester, RN, BA, CNN and chair of the KCER Coordination of Staff Committee, will provide a basic understanding of End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and what medical professionals need to know to provide general nursing care to ESRD patients. All healthcare providers are welcome, and non-ESRD clinicians are encouraged to attend. Nurses can receive 2.0 CEs through the California Board of Nursing.
