Discussing the Importance of Maintaining Diet During COVID-19
Carolyn Feibig, MS, RD, LDN
Carolyn Feibig has been a dietitian in the Washington, DC area since 2011 and currently serves as the Kidney Transplant Dietitian at The George Washington University Hospital. She volunteers with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), and was NKF’s 2018 Regional Recognized Renal Dietitian Award winner for the Southeastern region of the US. She is also on the NKF’s Capital Area Medical Advisory Board and Patient Education Committee. Carolyn is a frequent speaker for the American Kidney Fund (AKF), and wrote the nutrition content for AKF’s website. She presented at the 2018 American Association of Kidney Patients’ (AAKP) National Conference and was a member of the AAKP’s policy summit in Washington DC 2019. Carolyn also teaches renal nutrition to Virginia Tech - DC Campus and Mid-Atlantic Sodexo dietetic interns.
