Biographies:

Riquelen Ngumezi is a Licensed Clinic Social Worker in California who has been in the Patient Services Department with the HSAG ESRD Network 17 since 2013. She received her BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. She has 20 years of experience in mental health, geriatric, and medical social work, 14 of which are in dialysis and transplant care.

Anne Pugh is a Patient Services Manager at HSAG ESRD Network 17. She has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, including seven years in patient services for the Networks. She is also a skilled Perinatal Social Worker, employed by Sutter Heath’s Alta Bates Summit Hospital in Berkeley, CA.

Presentation Objectives:

The presenters will:

  • Provide a definition/example of a multigenerational home.
  • List common needs and ideas to make multigenerational living work.
  • Tips on how to care for someone in a multigenerational home who has COVID-19.
