Biographies:

Patrick Gee is a kidney transplant recipient from North Chesterfield, VA. He received a kidney transplant in April 2017. Since his diagnosis of end stage renal disease (ESRD), Patrick has become a patient/healthcare activist, fighting for a better healthcare system and better quality of life for those suffering from chronic illness. He volunteers with the Quality Insights Renal Network 5 Patient Advisory Committee, serves as a Field Ambassador for the American Association of Kidney Patients; subject matter expert (SME) for the Kidney Community Emergency Response (KCER) Program and for the ESRD NCC Legacy Program.

Tina Gee has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University and a Master of Science in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. Tina works for the United States Marshal Services as the Assistant Chief of Administration in Washington, DC. When Tina is not working, she enjoys volunteering and ministering in her community. She is a care partner to her husband, Patrick Gee, a kidney transplant recipient.

  • Share tips from survivors for thriving after a diagnosis of COVID-19. 
  • Discuss potential long-term impacts to patients from COVID-19.
  • Share methods of support.
