Elizabeth Christofferson, Ph.D - Clinical Director, Solid Organ Transplant Psychology and Kidney Center from the Children's Hospital Colorado Transplant Surgery and Kidney Center
Dr. Elizabeth Christofferson is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at University of Colorado School of Medicine and a licensed clinical psychologist at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She is the Clinical Director of Solid Organ Transplant Psychology and Kidney Center Psychology at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Her clinical work focuses on patients with kidney, liver, and heart transplants, as well as ESRD patients and their families. Her research focuses on adherence, health disparities, substance use, and risk and resilience factors related to health outcomes.
The presenter will:
- Provide information on how to assess risks associated with holiday celebrations for professionals and their patients
- Discuss creative solutions to minimize risk.
- Increase coping strategies to reduce stress and burnout associated wiht the holidays and COVID-19.
