Jonathan Segal, MD is nephrologist who has been providing care for patients with kidney disease for 20 years. He graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and is currently the Director of the Kidney Epidemiology Cost Center at University of Michigan, where he helps develop quality measures for dialysis facilities. Dr. Segal is active in the kidney community, volunteering with the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, and Midwest Kidney Network ESRD Network 11.
Tracy Robinson is a dialysis patient from Trenton, New Jersey. She was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2017. Mrs. Robinson serves as a member of the ESRD Network 3 Patient Advisory Committee. She is married with four children and two grandchildren.
The presenters will:
- Offer a doctor's perspective on what makes an effective telemedicine visit.
- Discuss various health services that can be provided using telemedicine.
- Provide a patient perspective on the benefits of telemedicine.
