Daniel Landry, DO, FASN - Chief, Division of Nephrology, Medical Director - Universtiy of Massachusetts

Biography:

Dr. Daniel Landry currently serves as the Chief of the Division of Nephrology as well as the Director of Acute Inpatient Dialysis and Critical Care Nephrology at Baystate Medical Center, a 715 bed tertiary care medical center in Springfield, MA. In addition to his role as the medical director for the in-center and home dialysis units at FKC East Springfield, Dr. Landry is a member of the only ESRD Seamless Care Organization in New England, and has been recognized for his excellence in teaching in Baystate’s nephrology fellowship program.

Presentation Objectives:

The presenter will:

  • Describe the unique confluence of evetns and stressors assiocated with COVID-19.
  • Understand the similarities and differences between burnout and compassion fatigue.
  • Provide a framework for the development of psychological resilience.

One CEU will be provided for attending this meeting.
